Description
A view from beneath the Elevador De Santa Justa, a wonderful historic elevator (over 100 years old) which connects the lower level Baixa District with the much higher Carmo Square, making one of those Lisbon hills a little easier. From the top there are fabulous views across the city, from the Rua De Santa Justa all the way to the Moorish style St George's Castle (Castelo de Sao Jorge) in the distance. I blended textures with my original photograph to achieve a more vintage look which I felt complimented this old world scene.
